Giving God Our All

While I mostly lean towards Matthew when it comes to Jesus’ scripture, Mark 12 allowed me to see through a lot of things, and it helped me deepen my faith and trust in God’s work in our lives. It really gives perspective on how much faith and trust Jesus had with the Father and His faithfulness that allowed us to experience His reconciliation and truth.

Earlier today, God has pressed upon me the following verse.

Mark 12:30 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Interestingly, the numbers match the verse as well. The previous verse matches the thought of us having “1” God, and we should love our God with all of our heart “2”, which represents half of our heart, and “3” matching the soul. “0” is our mind, and going back, “2” is strength and then “1” noting that it is the first commandment.

Now, I know it sounds crazy, but I have noted that we have other numbers that match this entire context. You could browse through all of my previous posts, and I even shared a post about the numbers and their meaning. I am posting this because I found something quite unique and something that might make you believe in the God that has given us life.

The entire chapter in itself was an amazing discovery of multiple things of God’s faithfulness and how we fail to match or even give back to the life and grace that was given to us. The response of Jesus with regard to taxes was amazing. It specifically matches what is inscribed on the US dollar; this makes me think someone or the forefathers truly wanted to create a God-fearing country which matches scripture. While I can’t discount the work that was done by the people, we also must not discount God’s work and response to the intentions in the inscription “In God We Trust”.
