The perfection that is in God’s work surrounds us daily; however, because we do not know Him enough and have not been instructed with deep knowledge of the scriptures, we might unknowingly sin against God. A short prayer about His work and love for us.

Waking up to Ezekiel 28 made me realize that we can move without God. Through our differences, we are made unique, and with varying context and perspectives, we can find ourselves in an endless conflict. In this case, our greatest common factor should only be one.

Prayers are our unique daily communication with God, but it’s mostly a small time for praise and acknowledgment of who God is and who He is in our life. Simple and true is good.

Sometimes life and work can be such a blur that we do not know when one thing starts and another ends. When things are just hard, and the struggles too real, may all of it be lifted to You and allow us to rest.

Christ said it best when He mentioned the two greatest commandments. Because building upon others helps us reflect the same mercies and grace that He has given us, upon the brokenness of this world, the best solution would always be to love God and love people. No other way.

Time and priorities in life can take away precious moments that we could have spent with loved ones. While we can’t always be physically present, we can still lift them up in prayer so God can work in their lives in wondrous ways.

Reading through scripture helped me find Deuteronomy 17:10-12. The role of a priest is not an easy one, and I pray that anyone that has encountered the perfection that is in Christ will have repentance in their hearts. Makes me wonder if the old ways were any different from the new?

Keeping true intentions is hard. In a world that does not match His ideals, there would be those that try to grab our hurt. Though it should not make us lose our true heart and intentions.

Peace is often thought to be impossible in this current world. I even heard from a friend that true peace is only personal. I don’t think that is true. True peace is achievable when we have our hearts one with God.

Sometimes work can be tedious, repetitive, and uninspiring. During these times, we tend to be distracted. A simple prayer about work and how to glorify God through it.

No one wants to be a stumbling block for others. It does not only stop our progress but also causes distrust, and we all know that trust is a limited resource nowadays.

God accepts all of us as His children, though we may have different narratives. Our concept of who God is and His grace should not be misaligned with ours and we should accept others the way that He accepts us as who we are.

This prayer is for the unborn angels of this world, those who have yet to see the light of day, and those whose hearts are beating inside the womb.

God is the perfect being, and though we could be made perfect alongside Him, we often choose not to. Praying for those who have yet to experience God and His love for us, to know Him in ways that could only be made possible through spending time with Him through His word.

El Roi is one of the many names of God. This is because in scripture, God saw through the sufferings of his people and has made things new in the lives that were once in darkness.

Understanding things can get confusing at times. We may even go through life without knowing the truth as it is drowned into an abyss of words that go against God’s being. Praying that we may see even a part of you through your Word.

Sometimes our dreams may not necessarily align with what God wants for our lives. We can get lost and drown in the lies that the world tells us, and often times it pulls out the worst parts of us. A prayer to never lose sight of God in trying times and uncertainty.

Prayers that lead to reconciliation with God heals us of the burdens of this world, as the burden is shared and weight held by the knowledge of who God is.

Easter is a special day, a day of celebration and the resurrection of life, as we come to remember the passion and perfection of what You have done on the cross. This is a prayer of the weary to recollect our thoughts back to the good news of our salvation and redemption.

The world today is different, and with all the fun stuff and interesting things of this world, we would often get lost and find ourselves deep into the day-to-day and necessities of life. A short prayer of what it is like to find ourselves and our heart.

Sadness can overcome us from time to time, the feeling of melancholy and meaninglessness, it makes us not want to pursue things and find meaning to life’s challenges. A prayer in the hope of God’s mighty work, and how it can once again bring life into an otherwise dead soul.

Life is full of ups and downs. As much as we want the best for our lives, we go through seasons, and in all of them, we need to be prepared with oil in our lamps. This way, when we are called, we are ready to step up to the calling.

Reflecting on the things Job had encountered, a fascinating and real encounter of your world, truth, and what makes us whole. The biggest part of us still remains unseen, but Job saw you and knew you.

In the message of God, we find ourselves moving in directions that make the best sense. Often times, we sell our hearts in the process. This is a reminder for us that logic can be broken sometimes in place of God’s ideals. A prayer that asks for guidance in preparation for a future where your sons and daughters can live in harmony.

There would always be seasonal phases of our lives. Storms come and go, but we must always find the right way to respond. A prayer that awakens us to the truth, biblical and one that offers simple things to reconcile us with Him.

Faith is for those who believe in You regardless of our differences, for the faithful and those who seek You in humility and repentance. May this prayer reach them in this trying time.

When darkness seems to be all that is left in this world, we tend to think negatively, and our perception of our future becomes clouded. Yet, the promise is that each step and each day will lead us to new hopes and a new beginning.

As we walk through the journey of faith, we gain a greater insight into what it is like to know God, the day-to-day communion of our lives with Him. Sometimes we can’t help but lament seeing how distant we have become from God.

Sharing has been the cornerstone of our Christian faith. When we are filled with God’s grace, it creates in us an overflow that stirs our hearts to share God with others.

Life is filled with small miracles daily. Upon each step and movement, we are led to hope for a good future, if not for us, at least for future generations. We have to remember that each generation sets upon itself a benchmark for the future generation.

One thing I realized while doing this prayer is that the reason that we commune, sharing things with God on a daily basis, creates a faith that can carry you through the ups and downs of life.

It is sometimes hard to see this world from the eyes of Jesus. This is especially true since all we see nowadays is chaos, lies, and helplessness. It is hard to be loving when we cannot see how poor we are.

It is hard to see a bright future when what we see all around us are wars, dread, problems, worries, anxieties, and uncertainties. It might be what the kids nowadays would say “cope” but with you I know it is more than that.

Leadership takes a heavy toll on those who are in position, a need to balance both brain and heart, which often times contradicts and creates conflict within oneself.

A new day, a new week, a new perspective should arise, like sunrises that renew our daily hope. May you open our eyes to something good, a new beginning, and a new opportunity.

Life is precious for it is a gift given to us from the Lord above. We do not deserve life, but because of grace, we are given it. We believe in the right reasons and in the right decisions, but there will always be evil within our midst. Keep us away from evil, Lord, and let your peace and mercy endure in this world.

Our lifetime is but a small piece of what is in front of an ever-lasting God, a short prayer about not forgetting to connect and build a life that is pleasing to him as much as we can.

I woke up last night to Psalm 134. It is an oddly simple psalm, not quite as short as Psalm 117, but it reminded me of the Lord’s prayer. Prayers can be simple and concise and yet have complete context of what it is to be part of God’s world.

Often times, when we snap back into reality, not all people would be in sync, not all people would believe, and not all people would be curious, especially if the price of certain things is steep. A short prayer for those souls that are in need.

As we are part of God and God is a part of us, this small prayer helps us become a good body of Christ that seeks the good of others.

Listening is one of the main traits of God. He is always listening and is able to listen to us even through differences in communicating. Thus, we must also be aware and ready to hear in different ways that He responds.

When we see things through God’s eyes, it does not only shift our perspective about ourselves but also others, that we are created equal and called to love and love others around us.

Satan daily takes delight in making us miserable. All of this is lifted up to the Lord, as even Jesus commanded us to turn the other cheek. Allowing us to show the abundance of mercy that God gives daily.

Prayers that I write mostly cater to my own thoughts upon thoughtful conversations with God. I pray that this prayer resonates with you and could also be yours.

As His mercies are renewed daily, we also daily welcome Him into our hearts, even as we welcome others. He shows us how to be a good host in a world that is always searching and taking. He shows us how to give and how to receive those wanting to be filled.

It came upon me today the sadness that you experience when someone leaves your flock. As the father celebrates upon the return of a prodigal son, so much more when he finds one that has yet to discover his kingdom and love. His emotions reflect upon us when we have fully encountered Him; love begets love; therefore, we must sow accordingly.

Each kind of love is special. Being able to differentiate between all of them helps us see how God has worked in the scripture and ultimately shows us that without His love, this world would cease to be.

As our Lord Jesus Christ has taught us, “to do unto others what you want others to do unto you”. This teaching resounds and is a reflection of who Christ is to us and who He is to God, the darling of heaven and perfecter of our faith. His love commands that we also reciprocate in ways that are most glorifying to Him, which is to follow His teachings.

Our daily lives can be a mess sometimes. We could be going through normal, mundane problems and be oblivious to the fact that in the silent moments of our lives, the Lord God listens to us. God listens to us through our daily struggles, and even though we have yet to have an encounter with Him, He is gracious enough to move things and answer our prayers.

A short prayer to open ourselves in preparation for fasting, following the examples of David and Jesus, showing a passionate devotion towards God in both humility and remorse.

Happy new year to all, praying for another good year filled with blessings, new memories, and other new discoveries about scripture and about the Lord’s kingdom.

Matthew 6:34 is an interesting verse. It helps us to be grounded in the present. This way, we can see the grace that is presented towards us daily, to be purposeful and present in what is in front of us.

As vessels of God, each of us has our own purpose and responsibilities. It varies from one to another, but all in all, we want to pursue His purpose for our lives. Does this mean that having a purpose has to conflict with others’ purposes? Not necessarily, since we do things in alignment with who He is.

There have been a lot of senseless deaths during this time. It is hard to be at peace when we don’t see peace. This prayer is a prayer of perspective, a small part of what You suffer daily because of us. A prayer that somehow things would move us towards the peace of Jesus Christ. May this prayer reach those who are grieving right now.

As vessels of God here on Earth, we constantly learn how to forgive and be humble, knowing that a lot of these things are obtained through grace. Humble hearts can be used by God in order to be a blessing to others, in turn allowing them to be a blessing and to magnify those who have been a blessing to them.

A prayer of mercy, this past week there have been two massive earthquakes in Japan and flooding in Washington. This is a prayer of mercy and faith, to protect Your people from harm and lead them back to true faith.

A prayer for guidance, humility, and grace. We acknowledge our shortcomings and seek to align ourselves with God, expressing gratitude for His blessings and mercy.

Reading scripture through God’s eyes, we will see that He truly loves us. Through the obedience and faith of Jesus, the same act that was done in parallel to the offering of Isaac. We then see how God truly is faithful to those who are faithful to Him.

Mercy is often taken for granted because we frequently receive it without realizing it. When it’s taken away, we only notice the immediate consequences and can’t recall instances when it was given.

Old Testament writings emphasize a lot on iniquity. Iniquity in repentance is an acknowledgement that because of what I have, others are deprived of what should have been theirs. Justice and mercy are core parts of Christianity, knowing that it should have been us on that Cross instead of Him.

This prayer is a reflection of John 8. Jesus has shielded us from the judgement that we deserve, and similar to Lamentations 2:8, He languishes with us in our afflictions.

During our pursuit of more for our lives, we often take for granted what is already given. Overlooking the simple things because of the different layers of abundance.

Contentment in the current situation of the world is hard; we constantly want and pursue more in our lives. This prayer is a reminder that His grace is always enough, and even when we strive more, we should never forget to give gratitude.

On our weakness, His power is magnified. We rely and submit ourselves onto His grace when all things seem hopeless. This is the times when miracles and grace is more visible in our lives.

On Matthew 11:30, Jesus emphasizes the importance of leaning into His mercy, a stark contrast to the yokes mentioned on the old scripture.

When we rely on our own understanding, our prayers might not be in tune with who God is. The Spirit of the Word is the backbone of faith and what we believe in.

Uncertainties in life is not uncommon, while not all of them are bad, our start wandering and doubt seeps in. A simple prayer of asking for guidance.

As the Lord fights for our spiritual battles, Psalm 29:11 assures us of peace so long as we are in His presence.

Often times we encounter different people in our lives, they might lie to us or confuse us but all the same, we reach to God in prayer for grace and peace.
