Interpretations
Interpretations of Passages through a Different Lens
Giving God Our All
While I mostly lean towards Matthew when it comes to Jesus’ scripture, Mark 12 allowed me to see through a lot of things, and it helped me deepen my faith and trust in God’s work in our lives. It really gives perspective on how much faith and trust Jesus had with the Father and His faithfulness that allowed us to experience His reconciliation and truth.
A Remedy to the Ditch
The ditch is a representation of hell. What then is the representation of heaven? A loop of His kingdom becoming true, that breaks our chains and makes us new.
The Ditch and Leading the Blind
Today was filled with a lot of unique realizations, especially with the number 4. It actually looks like the side of a pit or a ditch, which in my perspective describes what hell is. A place where people are pushed down until drowned into nothingness. Part one of my realizations.
God's Responsibility and Our Responsibility
Believing is one of our responsibilities with God, and as we go through life, we are learning and learning more about Him. We will start to realize that our responsibilities start to grow, and though we cannot do it all, we could at least do our own small part.
Believing without Seeing
God’s faith has created something out of nothing. This world is His and is ours; we just need to be good stewards and believe in Him.
Leaning To Our Own Understanding
All people will have different contexts, ideas, culture, choices, location, and people that we surround ourselves with. Though one thing I know for sure is that God always has His eyes upon us, for He is responsible for His body and our choices not only affect us, but also Him.
Obedience, Faith and Role
Obedience is hard, especially in hard times and troubled times, but God is always there for us. He constantly tries to pull us close to Him in order to move us His way. He gives us truth and a reality that is bigger than who we are and what we could bring forward in one lifetime.
Choosing Life
When we are pinned in the corner, we beg for our lives, but if given the chance to give life to others, do we do the same? The idea is the same as the parable of the man who owes the king.
God’s Way And Our Trust
When God creates things, it always has a purpose. He has all the time to make things good and perfect according to His design. However, we have the tendency to go against His way. We find ways to turn things that are meant for good into bad.
The Last Things We Control
Reframing into offering our way towards what is godly can be cumbersome, yet choosing to do so will always be the best choice for our own sanity and well-being.
Work That Glorifies God
Work or the lack thereof can be very tiresome. God sees and knows all things that we do, and in that regard, how we do one thing affects all things around us. How do you glorify God in all things? An introspection on what kind of work would glorify God.
Vessels
God and scripture always have a purpose, meant to fill us with godly wisdom. Man tries to replace it with our own meaning, leaning towards our own understanding.
Why Do We Deserve To Be Saved?
Scripture is the only thing that shows us how much work was done for us to be reconciled with Him. It is further emphasized with the truth of the cross, that He was willing to give us Jesus for us to have a hope and a future.
Guard Your Heart
The heart is a weird vessel; emotions come from the head, but we connect them to the heart. It acts as our center and our alignment with God and this world. It is important to guard it as it can easily be swayed towards negative things and bring out the worst in us.
Confirmation of Music
Some scripture just pops up to you all of a sudden, and we find it just fits like a puzzle piece into a topic that I wrote about previously. Lamentations 3:63-66 matches an anti-thesis of who Jesus is and what He did for us on the cross and what it means to be attuned to God.
Two Tunes
God being first in our lives is important. It gives us the chance to be aligned with Him and to have a chance to know the creator and for a chance for Him to know us deeper. This way, we keep Him in our hearts and not sin against Him.
Still Small Voice
We fail to see perfection because we tend to disobey; our sin and our ways blind us to what God can do and what this world can be with Him at its helm.
The Lord’s Winepress
An eye-opening meaning to what the winepress is and what is happening to the current world. True to who He is, God wants to test the depth of faith and how far along our understanding of His work and our appreciation thereof.
Taking Care of Covenants
The Bible, God’s book, addresses humanity’s flaws, prompting repentance and daily mercy. The perfect covenant of Jesus can be broken, especially in a connected world where we see others’ shortcomings. We can accept sins to be normal and backslide into a grave sin.
How God Speaks
Do you hear God? Is He in the still, small voice? Maybe He communicated with us already, but we failed to perceive? An interesting take on who God is and how He communicates with us in our daily lives.
Numbers and Scripture
Some of the numbers or unique interpretations that I found in scripture. The said meanings that I have mentioned create a new dynamic way of reading scripture outside and inside the Bible. This can act as a small dictionary or way to memorize and resonate with scripture.
The Rampart and Jesus
We often overlook the forgiveness that God has given to us. It can be especially true because we see things as though it is the norm, and this is what the world should look like. We fail to see that God has always been there and continually pulls us to reconciliation with Him through His sacrifice on the cross.
A Heart on Heart - Psalm 55:22
Scripture can have the weirdest things attached to it. It gives flavor, a more meaningful twist to stale words. One of the verses that I started with on this journey, hoping that it would give meaning and find a way to your heart.
Bittersweet
When we hear bitter, coffee almost always comes to mind. For people who have not had coffee, knowing that it is bitter, we would rather not take part of it or take it with lots of sugar, but once we know or come to accept the taste, we can then reap the benefits with little to no bad side effects.
Friend, Wherefore Do Come From
When Jesus went in front of the people who would bring Him to Pilate, “wherefore do you come?” was an odd question considering he knew he was already going to be captured.
