God's Responsibility and Our Responsibility
Believing is one of our responsibilities with God, and as we go through life, we are learning and learning more about Him. We will start to realize that our responsibilities start to grow, and though we cannot do it all, we could at least do our own small part.
Upon new scripture in the New Testament, there are multiple things that seem to be different, and yet we know God is the same now, before, and forevermore. Sometimes we gain different understandings of scripture, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that God is different in His goal and need for this scripture. As I have pointed out in my previous prayers and interpretation, even the verses themselves speak volumes in terms of what He wants His kingdom to be. Gaining this perspective, it becomes something that we need to unite upon since God is supposedly the being that gave us life. However, due to differences, we are not able to gain similar context as the world becomes more and more connected. Our differences create a rift on what God wants for this world, and if we come to know who He is and what He did, does, and will do for us. We should start doing our part in order to fulfill what Jesus mentioned in the Lord’s prayer, which is for His will to be done here as it is in heaven.
Jesus mentioned it in several of His parables how His kingdom should be, as it is now. I cannot see it. Though as I mentioned in my previous post about believing without seeing, the responsibilities start with us, as more blessings and responsibility are upon us. The more we should act and create and pave a way for His kingdom on Earth, no matter how small and insignificant it may seem at this time; if we do our part, believe, work on knowing Him, and all that He did for us. By doing this we give way for Him to work His healing, love, and truth in our lives. Upon these works, we take part in the responsibility as stewards and share not only faith but also His truth.
Does this mean we would suddenly be Superman and just be all for the kingdom and turn away from sin forever? For sure there would be sin because as it is our world is full of different contexts, all with different interpretations and meanings. If it were that easy then the world would be perfect wouldn’t it? But as it is at the moment, there are still a lot of things to do. We are far from the way that God envisioned His world, as we read through scripture we would see how things were in the old ways and how things are right now. While all completely different, all was written upon compassion and His truth of loving people as we love ourselves. And as Jesus believed before, and much it is plastered in the back of cars and motorcycles, “with God, all things are possible”.
