A Leader’s Prayer

Leadership takes a heavy toll on those who are in position, a need to balance both brain and heart, which often times contradicts and creates conflict within oneself.

Lord God, I lay myself before your feet.

I bow my head to you both in prayer and humility.

Make my eyes see the way you see this world.

Allow me to channel the grace that you have shown me.

As I commune with others, help me listen and know their hearts.

Make it so that I can uplift them in their needs.

In your eyes, all are created equal.

Align me, make my actions as if they were your own.

In all my decisions, I ask for wisdom and I ask for the right insights.
