A Prayer for A Friend

El Roi is one of the many names of God. This is because in scripture, God saw through the sufferings of his people and has made things new in the lives that were once in darkness.

I seek Your help, Lord God,

through this life, You have been faithful to us.

I pray for those who seek comfort from the troubles of life.

May the hardships and uncertainty be filled with comfort and assurance.

Lord, help us see the good when the darkness seems to devour us.

See us through during this trying time; do not leave our side.

May it be a future that we could look forward to,

where we can once again be in Your presence.

Thank You because while we have yet to see where all this would go,

we can have confidence in the love and grace that You have for us.
