A Reflection of Job
Reflecting on the things Job had encountered, a fascinating and real encounter of your world, truth, and what makes us whole. The biggest part of us still remains unseen, but Job saw you and knew you.
Lord, hear me as I humble myself before your presence,
The grand designer of things and the all-knowing creator.
Let me appreciate the beauty and splendor that you have clothed your world with,
Inasmuch as this place would be desolate without you.
Let me humble myself as I see your creations, Lord God,
From the mighty creatures to the smallest insects, in them you gave purpose and meaning.
You gave us all something that is due to us.
Let me realize, Lord God, how insignificant I am in your world.
Yet you hear my pleas and listen to my prayers and praise, to hear my woes and my grief.
Lord God, as I pray beyond myself, Lord, I pray for those who want to know you, Lord.
Those who have yet to hear and see the love that you have for this world.
Lord, let me have respect for your design, help me to realize that as you have fashioned and created me this way,
That each person was created differently and each person was created in a way that fulfills your purpose.
Lord, let your heart shine in each and every one of them, let the right way illuminate those who hear you and see you.
Let my response be the same to how you treat me, Lord God, let me be a good reflection of your love.
Grant us mercy, Lord God, when we go beyond boundaries and go through this new way of living.
As our sin grows deeper and deeper, help us find a way to be reconciled to you.
Address my struggles, Lord God, not for me but for the people that have strayed away from the path.
and those looking for answers to the same questions as me.
Lord, we can never reach perfection, and while your grace is sufficient,
Answer those while knowing your truth, still willingly go against it.
Help me give a response to those people as well.
