Barriers
Often times we encounter different people in our lives, they might lie to us or confuse us but all the same, we reach to God in prayer for grace and peace.
Lord God, day and night wars have I fought in my mind,
the enemy has deprived me, they take away my rest.
I have shielded myself from lies and confused my enemies;
And yet their attacks persisted Lord, they bombard my heart and soul daily.
Lord God, my shield I replace with yours, my life is in your hands,
I pray for rest my Lord, at your feet all these worries I offer.
Trample upon these worries Lord, let the enemy tremble before your hand.
Your perfect righteousness is upon them, pass over those who still believe in You Lord.
Keep my heart in a perfect position,
a heart that is prepared to receive and one prepared to give.
