Carrying Burdens
One thing I realized while doing this prayer is that the reason that we commune, sharing things with God on a daily basis, creates a faith that can carry you through the ups and downs of life.
Upon my back I carry this burden from one that was before.
Although I have come to know much and understood better,
I know that I still could never compare to the role that you bore.
One accord and one body, the dream that was meant for forever.
What we have now is a pale comparison to what you wanted.
But we still move forward and press on towards things created.
No one will ever see how much we have on our plate.
But what I have I share with you that I may take part with you.
