Dear God
Understanding things can get confusing at times. We may even go through life without knowing the truth as it is drowned into an abyss of words that go against God’s being. Praying that we may see even a part of you through your Word.
I question why things are sometimes…
Is this it? Is this the reality of our soul?
I search for something deeper, something more meaningful.
Is this the reward for Your love for us?
What I offer You daily, is it enough? Does it satisfy?
You deserve all of us, but we rebel against You.
Lord, I cannot perceive my flaws; I see not the wrong in me.
Show me who You are that I may be ashamed.
Make these unclean senses be subject to Your feet.
Worthy is Your name and Your righteousness.
Turn all my negative thoughts into Your thoughts.
Allow me to see beauty in Your design and ways.
But most of all, breathe life into this heart,
fill my heart with gladness as You delight in my joys daily.
