Forgiveness and Humility
As vessels of God here on Earth, we constantly learn how to forgive and be humble, knowing that a lot of these things are obtained through grace. Humble hearts can be used by God in order to be a blessing to others, in turn allowing them to be a blessing and to magnify those who have been a blessing to them.
Our gracious Lord God, forgive us. We are under Your grace and mercy.
We are the scorn of those who mock us and cause us pain.
Help us repent for our sins, Lord, for I know that pride creeps in unknowingly.
Let my confidence dwell in You, Lord, that I would not forget,
that only by grace am I alive and I am able to enjoy Your world.
Lord, grant me the strength and perspective so that I can do more with what You have given me.
I pray that You provide us with our needs, so that Your grace and mercy may abound.
May Your guiding hand be upon Your people, Lord, that You may be a blessing through them.
Through Your way, complete the missing pieces of our lives that we may be made a good vessel for Your love.
