Almighty Father, I cry out to You,
Take me out of the pit, for I have fallen into the depths.
The wicked have drained my heart and my soul.
My eyes start to fail for I am lost in the wilderness.
Breath into me renewed hope, restore my peace.
Strengthen me that I may endure another day.
Give mercy to this restless soul as I grieve today.
Keep me within the reach of Your gentle caress.
