Making Myself Clean For You

The world today is different, and with all the fun stuff and interesting things of this world, we would often get lost and find ourselves deep into the day-to-day and necessities of life. A short prayer of what it is like to find ourselves and our heart.

A clean heart was all you asked of me,

but this journey is difficult.

I would often stumble in my blindness,

walking my way through the wilderness.

I seek out solace from the hardships;

Turning to myself and turning to my own ways,

I find myself unclean and unworthy to be called yours.

Guide me to repentance, cleanse my heart to how it once was.

Make me believe that through your grace,

this world can once again be aligned towards You.
