Peace In The Storms
As the Lord fights for our spiritual battles, Psalm 29:11 assures us of peace so long as we are in His presence.
My Lord, my God, my heart seeks peace.
During the nights where my mind is restless and dissonance seeps into my head,
let it be so that your voice is the one that prevails.
When your voice is what I hear, all the evil thoughts perish away.
My heart and mind are renewed every day, so in turn I could speak your words powerfully and gracefully.
Lord, help me see your patience and heart for your people.
Let it be reflected through me, so that it can be a testament to your mighty name.
Lord, pour out mercy onto us, so that in turn we could give mercy.
For the peace that we desperately need, I pray that the peace that Christ has left with us would prevail.
Lord God, help us remember all the things that you asked of us,
that we may praise, glorify, and give you gratitude daily.
