Prayer for Daily Work

Sometimes work can be tedious, repetitive, and uninspiring. During these times, we tend to be distracted. A simple prayer about work and how to glorify God through it.

Lord God, sustain me to do good in my day-to-day work.

Keep my mind from wandering beyond my daily task.

When all of my thoughts seem to be diverted towards distractions,

Pull my mind back to the task at hand.

Give meaning to my work, turn my work into something that glorifies You.

Lord, when there seem to be different voices around,

Help me find the ones that inspire me to be better.

Make me to pour my heart and soul into my craft,

turn my hard work into a praise report for You.
