These dry bones are fragile; they break like glass.
The pain that I have caused you, do not inflict upon me.
Renew my heart, Lord, turn it back into a child that yearns for your grasp.
Hold it gently, pour life into it so that it can see more of you.
Strengthen me, that I may dance beautifully to your praises,
to the luster of my soul, the love that is true and forever.
Caress me as I sleep; when I lean into you, give me comfort as I rest.
