Taint and Broken Blessings
In the message of God, we find ourselves moving in directions that make the best sense. Often times, we sell our hearts in the process. This is a reminder for us that logic can be broken sometimes in place of God’s ideals. A prayer that asks for guidance in preparation for a future where your sons and daughters can live in harmony.
Would it have been better if I had not been born?
Is the hope in life nothing more than a broken dream?
Did my heart cause you to stumble more than it pulled you close?
And yet You shielded me from the broken glass,
You bore the pain and brought me out of this world.
Let me not forsake You, even through the darkest times.
Bring me up to be a person that You could delight in.
I am an unworthy vessel of Your love and yet through me life was created.
Open my eyes Lord God teach me Your ways in this new dawn.
Guide our hearts, make it worthy enough to stand in front of You.
