Vessels of Grace
As vessels of God, each of us has our own purpose and responsibilities. It varies from one to another, but all in all, we want to pursue His purpose for our lives. Does this mean that having a purpose has to conflict with others’ purposes? Not necessarily, since we do things in alignment with who He is.
Lord God, empty is the feeling without You.
Seeking You out, we find our way; we renew our purpose.
When they ask us if what You provide is sufficient,
strengthen me that I may say that You are enough.
Speak Your words through me; direct me in ways not known.
Let my prayers be prayers of gratitude and praise in the midst of all the turmoil.
Grace has filled this vessel with life; help me give the same grace to others.
All things are made possible through You.
For the life You bring forth to this world renews all hope.
As the night slowly creeps in, keep us awake and ready to press on.
May we stay true to Your statutes; this way, we can enter into judgement prepared.
