We Reap What We Sow
It came upon me today the sadness that you experience when someone leaves your flock. As the father celebrates upon the return of a prodigal son, so much more when he finds one that has yet to discover his kingdom and love. His emotions reflect upon us when we have fully encountered Him; love begets love; therefore, we must sow accordingly.
Lord God almighty, You have shown us the perfection of Your love,
The love that defeated the grave and brought to life Your body.
Grant us the capacity to bear that love daily towards You and towards others.
When I share the gospel to others, help it bring forth fruit.
That they may hear Your words, in different ways and ways that resonate with them.
Cultivate within our hearts a way to respond to You with love.
Let our Son, Jesus, be our guide and light, enabling us to confidently and boldly navigate our lives.
Through our salvation, we can confidently call upon and rely on Your daily grace.
Place upon us the yearning to share what we have to others,
For us to fully experience that joy and gladness whenever a sheep finds its way to Your fold.
Let Your joy be our joy, and let Your love be our love now and forever.
