Why Is It So Hard To Love People?

It is sometimes hard to see this world from the eyes of Jesus. This is especially true since all we see nowadays is chaos, lies, and helplessness. It is hard to be loving when we cannot see how poor we are.

How is it that You have given us so much grace?

When all we do is try to inflict pain onto others?

The love that You have shown us is beyond this world,

and I have yet to see a world as beautiful as Yours.

I am ashamed as I touch it with an impure heart.

Lord God, forgive me, because I am unworthy of this love.

Teach me to see with Your eyes, to show grace as I myself received.

You are king over this world and may all the praise and glory be Yours.

Renew us Lord God, renew this world for we yearn for peace.
