Work, Life and Repentance
Sometimes life and work can be such a blur that we do not know when one thing starts and another ends. When things are just hard, and the struggles too real, may all of it be lifted to You and allow us to rest.
When the world gives us unreasonableness,
Lord God, I pray that You strengthen us in the test.
For this world can give us choices outside of Your will, Lord.
Through those times and through those decisions, forgive us.
Make our hearts content and our lives surrendered to You.
Pull us out of the pit, Lord God, and bring us back to Your light.
Show us the unfailing mercies that have redeemed our souls.
Return this place to its former glory, where You remain our king.
Shape our future and give us hope that through Your mercies,
You can turn all things meant for evil into good.
